Unspoken, unheard

Radiant were her eyes and smile,

A young lily blossoming,

She had experienced many a trial,

Yet her future was most promising.

Not yet of adult years,

But a young lady in demeanour,

Exalted among her peers,

A twenty-first century Athena.

Independent, conscientious, considerate,

Fiery, passionate, powerful,

Only in her own mould would she fit,

In her arsenal she had every tool.

In short, she made her admirers proud,

But she oft forgot it,

So here do I say aloud,

The candle of pride she had eternally lit.

Doubt and Uncertainty

Love, but not as I knew it
