For actions have consequences

What constitutes my sense of self? What comprises who I am; what comprises us? Am I my thoughts? Am I my actions? Is a thought as good or as bad as the action it may precede, or is the action solely of importance? Why is an action of such importance? For it is merely a thought manifested. Is there a transformative process that thought undergoes wherein it takes on a different (more potent) character? Is that character consequence? Is it effect?

Who then, am I, if not my thoughts nor actions? Only I will ever know the true nature of my thoughts and the true force behind my actions, but my actions are all that are seen and thus, one must guard his actions with inordinate consideration and empathy, for actions have consequences and consequences, effects.

I am naught
